My name is Li Shuaiyu, and I am currently an assistant professor at the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Before joining Beijing Foreign Studies University, I was a postdoctoral associate at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University, with funding from the Super Postdoctoral Researchers Program of the Shanghai Municipal Government.

Throughout my academic journey, my research interests have focused on the intersection of international and comparative political economy with an emphasis on industrial policy and trade politics. Apart from IPE and CPE, I have also worked in comparative politics and international relations in East Asia.

I earned my Bachelor’s in International Politics and a second degree in economics from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. Then, I pursued both my Master’s and Ph.D. in International Political Economy at the School of International Studies, Peking University.
